Private chef Raul started to cook with his father in Chile when he was just a kid. His father used to have a Spanish restaurant by the sea side and Ryan liked to “help” him and understand the kitchen secrets. Raul moved to Spain in the lates 90s with a different profession (creative director in advertising), but he could not resist the temptation to learn the Spanish cooking style and he went back to the kitchens in 2012, near to the sea again. Raul then moved to London in 2018 and has been working as a Sous Chef and Head Chef in different restaurants including Linnean, Carbon Kopi and The Laslett hotel, but always around Latin American and flexitarian food.
