Rangoli is a traditional Indian art form that involves creating colorful patterns on the floor or tabletop. The word "rangoli" comes from the Sanskrit word rangavalli, which means "rows of colors".
Rangoli is often made during Indian traditional festivals and other important celebrations, such as Diwali, Tihar, Onam, and Pongal.
Rangoli is made to welcome Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of wealth and good luck, into homes.
Don't worry if you're a complete beginner – our experienced Hometainer Ekta will make sure you feel comfortable and confident throughout the class You'll work with a variety of materials, including coloured powders and chalk, to bring your mandala rangoli to life.
