Reiki for Beginners - Learn Healing Techniques

If you would like to understand the basics of energy healing and learn some powerful techniques to self-heal, this workshop is for you. A certified Reiki Master will introduce you to the world of ‘energy’ and will guide you through the origins of Reiki, basic healing techniques and hand positions to apply. You will be able to self-healing whenever you need it, let it be either for pure relaxation or to ease any physical / emotional pain. You will also experience a traditional ‘Reiki Attunement Ceremony’ led by your Reiki Master, during this ritual you will be connected with the ‘source’, to tap into the unlimited supply of ‘life-force energy’ (reiki) to improve your health and enhance the quality of your life. Reiki is a Japanese alternative healing technique which works on a physical, emotional and spiritual level at the same time. We are alive because life force is flowing through us. Life force flows within the physical body though pathways called chakras, meridians and nadis. It also flows around us in a field of energy called the aura. Throughout our life negative energies (created by negative thoughts, feelings, traumatic events) attach themselves to the energy field and cause a disruption in the flow of life force. This diminishes the vital function of the organs and cells of the physical body. Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. It raises the vibratory level of the energy field in and around the physical body where the negative thoughts and feelings are attached. There are many wonderful benefits of Reiki. The main purpose of a reiki treatment is not only to support the physical body, but also to promote a positive mind so you can experience more joy in life.
